2018- A year of firsts

After my ride across the United States the previous year, my love for adventure and endurance sports skyrocketed. I adopted a plant-based diet the end of 2017 and started training for endurance endeavors in many forms. I ran my first half and then full marathon, did a 70.3 Iron Man (after swimming my first 1, 2 & 3 mile swims), multiple rides over 150+ miles as well as my first double century (200miles). Through this year I learned how much you can push yourself to unbelievable heights! This all set me in motion to keep improving, physically and mentally. I learned so much about training, nutrition, time-management as well as personal relationships. Every challenge you decide to take on and fully commit to, will make you a better person!
